The ART of FAILING and How to do it REALLY REALLY WELL!

FAIL EARLY | FAIL OFTEN | FAIL FORWARD

One thing I've learned in the 20 years of developing projects is that unless you fail you can not improve!

Unfortunately, most people are afraid to start anything scary or unknown through fear of failure - HANG ON!!!

That makes no sense! If you don't start something you have failed by default!

Just because you failed once doesn't mean you're going to fail at everything - Marilyn Monroe

We are worried about what people might say about us! Are you really going to put your life on hold because of someone else's judgment on you? It is their opinion and they only reflect their fears onto you. where is your people protector Bubble that protects you from other people's fears? Trust me, you have enough weird unjustified fears of your own inside you that you do not need the fears of others fueling your scarcity! It has taken me 'NEARLY' 40 years to realise that what other people think about me does not matter. WHY?? because this is MY LIFE! They are projecting their fears and worries onto me because it is what they feel. however, before we go all thermonuclear on them, we have to accept that it is not that they want to harm us... NOPE! it is in fact the opposite, our external influencers in the form of family, friends, and colleagues actually want to protect us from their own fears, CUTE RIGHT? 🤪 I am not suggesting in any way that you should stop listening to anything anyone says, but to merely observe their comments and eye rolls, and decide if they fit with your right to experience life with joy and excitement! And, thank them for their opinions and DO IT ANYWAY! 7 FAMOUS FAILURES

  • Michael Jordan - After being cut from his high school basketball team, Jordan went home and locked himself away and cried for days.

  • The Beatles - Rejected by Decca Recording Studios, who said "we don't like your sound, you have no future in music"

  • Eminem - A high school dropout and whose struggles with drugs and personal life led him to an unsuccessful suicide attempt.

  • Steve Jobs - At 30 years olds he was unceremoniously removed from the company he started, leaving him devastated and depressed.

  • Walt Disney - Fired from a newspaper for "lacking imagination" and "having no original ideas"

  • Opera Winfrey -was demoted from her job as a news anchor because she "wasn't fit for television"

  • Albert Einstein - he wasn't able to speak until he was 4 years old and his teacher said "he will never amount to much"

If anyone of these people had decided that they couldn't do it where would this WORLD be? I am currently in the midst of a, what would be considered to others as a failure! I am scared, I am confused BUT I am even more determined, I have faith in my project and the annoying persistences that will make me try again and again and again!! And the truth is, no one will even see the 'failures' because 80% of the success happens underground, so I am excited for you all to see the end product because above all else:

"I BELIEVE IN MYSELF AND MY ABILITIES TO PRODUCE AWESOMENESS!"

Failures do not define you. They make you stronger, wiser, and courageous. I am not scared to fail and neither should you be. Look at failures with new eyes, laugh at them and congratulate yourself on the size of the failure and then create a plan to succeed, nothing is final, there are no bad ideas, we just need to find another path to success. What are you waiting for? no one is going to give you permission to start or finish or progress. No one is going to applaud your failures, but they will relish in your success.

DO IT FOR ALL THE PEOPLE WHO WANT TO SEE YOU FAIL
